ABOUT ME
Hello there! My name is Sofia.
While working as a research assistant in my last semester of college, I found myself contemplating about whether or not to start a YouTube channel. One day I uploaded a video about how to make lipstick, a month later it made it to national television.
I have amassed over 600k subscribers and 58 million lifetime views since launching my channel in March 2013. On SofiaStyled, I show my viewers, called 'Stylers,' how to create their own cosmetics using household items. Hairspray out of oranges, makeup remover out of roses, and mascara out of almonds are just a few of the Do-It-Yourself projects you'll find on my channel. Much like a homemade meal, you have absolute freedom over the ingredients that go into your DIY cosmetics.
My work has been featured on Lucky Magazine's website, CMT, and various Do-It-Yourself blogs. I have worked with brands such as Subway, Walgreens, and numerous App companies.
